Outpatient Treatment Locations

IDHS contracts community providers to offer fitness restoration services for individuals with UST legal status and monitoring services for individual with NGRI legal status under conditional release.

Contact the Forensic Outpatient Manager, Dr. Tima Smith (tima.smith@illinois.gov), for questions regarding treatment options. Send court orders and referrals to IDHS regional emails listed in Where to Send Court Orders.

Telehealth restoration services are available statewide. In counties where provider contracts are not established, IDHS will make a reasonable effort to assign IDHS staff to provide in-person fitness restoration services where operationally feasible.
